About
N.K.E.A.
-
Northern Kentucky Electrical Association

With the recently enacted legislation in Kentucky requiring statewide licensing, annual continuing education requirements, and the disbanding of the Northern Kentucky Electric Authority, we felt that the timing and necessity to form an organization suddenly became urgent. Therefore we formed the Northern Kentucky Electrical Association, a non profit organization that will accept as its members anyone having affiliation with the electrical industry, and will be governed and ran by these members, all having equal membership privileges. Our objective is to provide, at a minimum, for our members:

A) A peer group where persons could share thoughts and ideas amongst each other in the betterment of our industry.

B) Continuing education classes that will provide instruction in areas of interest to our members.

C) Representation at meetings of the Kentucky Electrical Advisory Board, which is currently manned by persons not having a direct connection with our local interests.

D) Group rates on insurance programs that are currently unavailable without belonging to associations not directly related to electrical.

E) A better rapport with directly related associated trades and persons such as telecom and data, local utilities, and engineers by accepting them as members.

Have a great day!
